This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of educational technologies for MET courses, working directly with faculty to incorporate both established and emerging technologies in support of teaching and learning. Educational Technologies Engineer II is a mid-level professional role, works on multiple projects and issues of low to medium complexity and requires demonstrated knowledge and skills across multiple technical areas and teaching and learning activities.
B.S. in Computer Information Systems, Masters Degree preferred. Experience in developing and integrating hardware and software in Linux and Windows operating environments. Solid systems administration skills, knowledge of computer networks, cybersecurity, directory services, database systems, virtualization platforms, web software development technologies. Three to five years of experience in information systems development and support. Basic project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong customer focus, and attention to details.
