Provide instruction on various computer science and information technology subjects. Ability to use a variety of teaching techniques to help participants learn and develop skills related to the technology industry. Course training subjects cover, but are not limited to, Basic Digital Literacy, Microsoft Office Suite, and Cybersecurity training. Support program activities, such as recruitment, enrollment, and successful retention of program participants.
Associates Degree required. Bachelors preferred. Certified IC3 Digital Literacy preferred.
Certified Microsoft Office Specialist preferred.
1 to 3 years of professional adult training experience in basic digital literacy and/or Microsoft Office Suite (trainer, teacher, instructor, or educator).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data entry.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a diverse participant population.
Experience in recruiting, assessing, enrolling, and mentoring participants strongly preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Flexibility to work evening and weekends to meet program operations and needs.
