The University of Nevada, Reno Libraries is recruiting for a Multimedia Specialist for the Dynamic Media Lab. The Multimedia Specialist provides creative input, development, and support regarding the design and production of digital video, graphics, multimedia, interactive media, and virtual/augmented reality projects that support the mission and goals of the University. The position serves as a consultant, trainer, and advisor for campus clients seeking to utilize media technology, such as interactive digital media, digital imaging, and digital video technology for research, instructional, and outreach applications. The Specialist will act as a production manager, advisor and practitioner, therefore, must be fluent with the theory and practice of new media applications.
Extensive experience working with a wide range of digital media software programs including but not limited to the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, illustrator, After Effects). Professional experience with video and audio production and post-production workflows. Basic understanding of Mac lab management tools. Experience leading classroom workshops.
