Bachelorâs Degree in Information System, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum five (5) years experience in application development/implementation
Minimum three (3) years experience in a supervisory/lead role a plus
Cerner experience in PowerChart and Surgical Services strongly desired
Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills both verbal and written;
Must have demonstrated ability to supervise, judge staff skills and delegate appropriately, with an emphasis on customer service.
Must have demonstrated understanding of performance management, business consulting, project management and applicable technology
LA City Fire and Safety Certification. If no certification upon hire, must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.Â
The Inpatient Clinical Applications Manager leads staff and processes for all inpatient clinical documentation and surgical management design, development, testing, and implementation. The areas that this individualâs team will provide services to include Nursing, Case Management, Therapies, ED, Maternity, Surgical Services, and Procedural Services. This position reports directly to the Director of Inpatient Clinical Applications. Brings specific technical expertise to functions supervised. Responsible for staff supervision; participates in budget development and administration, short- and long-term planning, and quality assurance. Responsible for the overall service delivery for one or more IT functions and/or capabilities.
