Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience or certifications.
5 or more years of related experience including data mart design, documentation, maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting highly preferred.Â
Experience in MSSQL development is required. Appropriate industry certification preferred.
Prior experience with electronic health record data in a complex healthcare environment preferred.
Understanding of or exposure to healthcare (clinical/financial) operations preferred.
Prior experience with mandated external reporting requirements for healthcare facilities preferred.
Fire and Safety Certification.Â If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.Â
Responsible for requirements gathering, design, coordination, implementation, testing and support of data driven business solutions. Collaborates with senior management, business process owners, technical staff, and project managers to leverage the use of data and data strategy across a full spectrum of business needs. Involved in business requirements gathering meetings with executive management and business users of the company. Proactively communicates and collaborates with these users to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Translates business requirements into functional specifications for the Business Intelligence System. Involved in the design and development of data extraction, transform and load (ETL) packages, SQL queries, stored procedures, OLAP/tabular models, dashboards, and analytic reports. Provides hands-on training and ongoing analytical support to users of the Business Intelligence System.Assists in troubleshooting and correcting ETL warnings and errors, and is willing to resolve critical issues in a timely manner (may take place outside of normal business hours).
