REQUIRED:Â Associates Degree and/or 5 years in a healthcare administration role
PREFERRED:Â Bachelor degree
Â Minimum of 2 yearsâ practical experience in supporting the data preparation requirements for an interdisciplinary team and at least 3 yearsâ experience in a healthcare environment
Knowledgeable on existing programs available for data validation and data cleansing
Experience with analytics tools and data formats
Directly related project or administrative experience
Strong communication and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to adapt easily to change and lead others in a team environment
A proven track record in projects and EHR requires solid knowledge in electronic health records programs (ie Point and Click, Cerner, etc.) and experience in developing, implementing and providing operational support for clinical information systems.
Demonstrated experience in healthcare projects management, electronic health records programs, and data manipulation and presentationÂ
Fire and Safety Certification.Â If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.Â
The Specialist provides specialized professional support services to the USC Student Health Medical Operations and/or Counseling & Mental Health departments. Performs research and/or administrative projects. Coordinate/own a variety of administrative projects including planning, budgeting, organizing, research and delivery of services. Facilitates and supervises projects as assigned.This position is responsible in fostering teamwork through collaboration with clinicians, operations leadership, medical staff, vendors, and technical experts to ensure the design and deployment of information that will result in improved care and outcomes for our patients. This position provides project management support to deliver projects within the established budget and time line
