The Department of English in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in media studies, broadly conceived. We welcome applications from scholars interested in all aspects of media studies, including sound, video, digital media and print. The Department also encourages scholars whose work can be integrated into our creative and scholarly programs. The successful candidate will be involved in developing the departmentâs graduate studies in these areas. This position is expected to begin August 2020. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. at the time of appointment.
