This position reports directly to the Dean of Student Financial Services and is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Card Services Office. The Director is a key member of the Student Financial Services management team and works together with the Dean to formulate, develop, and execute the plans necessary to appropriately and effectively administer campus card services at the University. The Director is responsible to direct and manage the Card Services staff, program operations, and administrative functions to include, planning and scheduling, program evaluation, policy implementation, personnel administration, budget, marketing programs and materials, and proposal development. The Director is responsible to develop and negotiate off-site vendor applications and revenue streams.
1.Bachelor's degree or the equivalent years of experience. 2.5 years' previous experience in an administrative or project management position. 3.3 years' direct supervisory experience. 4.2 years' working with an integrated software system, with demonstrated ability to set-up and maintain system functionality. 5.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access software programs. 6.Excellent verbal and written communication skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation, composition and proofreading skills). 7.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 8.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and work with diverse groups of people.
