Your Core Contributions To The Team
Work with the Director of Governance and Leadership Programs to assist in program, committee, and leadership initiatives.
Serve as staff lead on special events/projects as needed. Researches and coordinates with any vendors that may be needed.
Work with other NAR teams to obtain relevant information on NAR meetings (including Legislative Meetings, Annual Conference, and Leadership Summit).
Maintains CEO and Leadership travel schedule.
Manage inbox and respond to pending inquires in a timely manner.
Manage logistics for governance and leadership meetings and programs and assisting with meeting minutes.
Help manage web content in the Governance Reference Library.
Participates as a team player by supporting departmental and organizational operations.
Assists with task overflow from other departments as needed.
knowledge and abilities
Minimum of 2 years of professional relevant experience. Association or non-profit experience desirable.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time and ensure deadlines are met.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems.
Maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality when interacting with committee leaders, members, and individuals at all levels.
education, certification, licenses
Bachelor’s degree in social science, English, or related field.
qualifications and other skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the association.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries.
Keen attention to detail.
Flexibility to work some weekends/overtime.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
