DIRECTOR, CAREER EDUCATION , Sloan School of Management , to partner on the oversight of career planning, education, advising, and outcomes for approximately 800 MBA/LGO, 160 Master of Finance, 60 Master of Business Analytics, and 12 MSMS students annually (MBA and Specialty Master's students). Will manage two teams of nine--across the MBA and Specialty Master's programs--responsible for career education and advising, operations, program delivery, and outcomes; oversee the development and delivery of a comprehensive, timely, and relevant career education program for MBA and Specialty Master's students; oversee the design and evaluation of the MBA career core curriculum, ensuring best practices are leveraged across the portfolio; lead the career education team in creating and delivering career programs; and oversee and manage those advising MBA and Specialty Master's students.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree (master's/MBA preferred); at least seven years' career services or related experience; proven ability to develop and lead teams; excellent interpersonal skills; experience working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds; experience in graduate business career development, coaching, or corporate recruiting; knowledge of MBA and specialty master's landscape; detail-orientation; strategic and agile approach; willingness to challenge the status quo; experience managing teams, including through change; ability to make oral and written presentations to large and small groups; strong project management skills including workflow, timelines, and budgets; and proficiency with business career assessment tools (including StrengthsFinder and CareerLeader), data analysis, and presentation preparation. PREFERRED : knowledge of business and broad range of graduate-level business careers; and experience with education technology tools (e.g., Canvas, Salesforce, Handshake, Trello, Slack).
