The National Grocers Association seeks a results driven team member to join a growing trade association as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO / Manager, Board Relations and Member Engagement. The position supports a fast-paced CEO with administrative tasks to include scheduling, coordinating travel arrangements, drafting correspondence, maintaining accurate records, & project management for special projects.
The individual also serves as a staff liaison to NGA’s Board of Directors. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining positive relationships with Board members and their team, maintaining contact and activity related information in NGA’s database, assisting with the planning and execution of executive committee and board meetings.
The individual will also work closely with NGA’s membership and events team to support member outreach and engagement and will also be responsible for general office administration duties.
The successful candidate is a professional with expertise managing multiple projects at the same time in a fast paced environment. The candidate must be very organized, able to maintain confidentiality, and have experience managing senior executive schedules and complex travel itineraries. Experience interacting with C-suite, senior executives or public officials is essential. Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently.

Requirements: College or associate’s degree; however work experience as executive assistant/ scheduler will be considered. Proficiency in MS Office suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word a must. Minimum of 3 years work experience required.
