Employment Status: Administrative Description of Key Responsibility: 1.Incorporate market research, environmental scans, best practices, and the college's strategic plan to develop a full-cycle recruiting process of prospective students driving inquiries to application by nurturing prospective students throughout the enrollment lifecycle. Collaborate with the Admission and Academic Services Advisor to ensure customer service levels are being met. Plan and evaluate long and short-term recruitment strategies and operations. 2.Collaborate with areas of the college to coordinate prospecting and recruiting activities with the goal of converting prospect contacts into successful and informed applicants. This includes initiating and guiding conversations or meetings to create partnerships and content for the School of Graduate and Professional Studies social media accounts in partnership with key campus stakeholders and in adherence to the North Central College brand. 3.Collaborate with the Associate Dean for Graduate Enrollment Management and Services to implement and manage a comprehensive recruitment and admission yield plan that includes advertising, travel, campus visits, recruitment materials and managing the full admissions funnel. Participate in recruiting events such as fairs, conferences, career events, information sessions, open houses, webinars, and other specialized recruiting events. 4.Collect, analyze and interpret social media and website data and analytics in order to inform strategy, optimize engagement and promote social audience growth and impact. Possess knowledge of key audiences and create goals and strategies to reach and grow those audiences through the use of relevant social media channels and content. 5.Collaborate with the Office of Marketing and Communication to measure web traffic and monitor SEO. 6.Manage and update the North Central College School of Graduate and Professional Studies web pages. 7.Support the College's mission, vision and values, and contribute to the advancement of the College's Strategic Plan. 8.Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement. 9.Demonstrate civil and inclusive behavior when interacting with staff, faculty, students and visitors to the College. Promote a flexible, collaborative and inclusive work and living environment and engage in educational opportunities to increase awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion. 10.Other Duties as assigned. This position may be required to travel and work evenings and weekends as scheduled. Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications. Master's degree strongly preferred. Experience: A minimum of (2) two to (3) three years of experience in outreach, graduate level student recruitment or related field required; preferably in higher education. Licenses or Certifications: A valid Driver's License is required. Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Graduate Enrollment Management and Services, the Recruitment and Social Media Coordinator is a professional role in the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at North Central College that contributes to recruitment, marketing, and enrollment management for degree and certificate programs in the School of Education and Health Sciences, School of Business and Entrepreneurship, and the College of Arts and Sciences. |
