A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
Computershare Title Services is part ofComputershare the worlds largest stock transfer agent. We provide realestate title related services to mortgage servicing companies, lenders and mortgageinvestors. Job Summary Responsibilities include title report reviews,identification of title issues, curative actions to resolve complexhigh-profile issues including litigated title issues, difficult pre and postforeclosure title situations, title claims and settlement issues, complex metesand bounds legal description irregularities, provide partial release resolutionfor Executive Services and post-foreclosure title curative work for the REOdepartment. High Risk Title Issues include, but are not limited to liens bygovernmental agencies, legal description errors, vesting issues, priorliens/judgments, unrecorded mortgage documents, prior mortgages, super lienissues, tax sales, missing assignments, REO title resolution and mortgagemodification title review and recordation.
Orderand review title reports, track, process and fulfil requests from the High RiskDepartment. This includes managing spreadsheets, entering notes, following upand participating in reconciliations for invoicing.
Determineappropriate curative action for title issues identified. This could include,filing title claims, acquiring existing title policies, researching complexlegal description errors, identifying resolution options for Client, makingrecommends on legal actions, researching issues using 3rd party resources.
Workwith foreclosure attorneys, department management, client management, clientlegal representatives and appropriate third party resources to address specifictitle issues. Serve as subject matter expert.
Interactwith customers, clients, business partners and other company departments asneeded to complete duties and requests.
Otherduties or tasks as assigned by management.

Oneyear certificate from college or technical school; two or more years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience. Title Officer/Escrow Officer or foreclosure law firm experience
Experiencein title insurance products, mortgage servicing and/or foreclosure /REOprocesses
Knowledgeof title insurance standards
Experiencein communicating in a legal environment
TitleInsurance product production experience
Ability to read/comprehend simpleinstructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence;effectively present information in one-on-one/small group situations tocustomers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbersand to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money andweight measurement, volume, and distance.
