The UMKC School of Law is seeking a customer service focused program coordinator who is known for their commitment to providing the highest level of customer service. The coordinator will assist the director in supporting events sponsored by our continuing legal education department. This position is key to the success of our unit which has as its goals 1) providing high quality educational programs; 2) providing A+ customer service; and 3) generating revenue for the Law School. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Develop continuing education events, negotiate contracts, and develop new events for online and distance education programming.
Responsible for digital and print marketing of on-line programming and regular programming with an emphasis in social media marketing.
Create print advertising in graphic arts software programs such as InDesign.
Take initiative on projects and be responsible for financial performances of those projects.
Work independent of others with much autonomy for building our distance education programs, however adapt as needed to collaborate and work with a team.
Lead meetings with clients and committee members for program development.
A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Successful candidates will be self-starters known for their strong marketing, event planning and social media experience, as well as their superb communication skills, and knowledge of distance education technology.
Experience in Higher Education, or a Continuing Education setting preferred.

$47,476 - $50,000
