In this role, you will help the division of enrollment management provide enhanced pathways to college and support student success and completion throughout the college experience. Central Washington University is seeking an exceptionally bright, multi-tasking, and self-motivated Assistant Director - EM Operations and Projects to support the Vice President for Enrollment Management and partner with the administrative team in offering comprehensive support of the initiatives and activities throughout the division. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to succeed with minimal guidance or supervision, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, react with the appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, take effective action without having to know the total picture, and be skilled at anticipating problems.
A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the institution is important. A calm demeanor and good sense of humor are key. It is essential to have the ability to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the division. In addition, exceptional written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail, detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills are required.

Evidence of strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Experience utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, such as Microsoft Suite products to create, modify and format documents and presentations.

Project management and/or supervisory experience.
Superior verbal, written, interpersonal communication, and relationship building skills.
High level of organization in following-up and checking-in on the progress of initiatives across the division.
Ability to encourage and motivate co-workers in support of project completion and delivering results.
Experience identifying inefficiencies, making recommendations for improvements, and leading change.
Bachelor’s degree or professional training, certification, or post-secondary education in an area/specialization applicable to the position;
Experience using PeopleSoft, Slate, and/or other information systems.
Experience working in an Enrollment Management and/or Admissions role.
