We are looking for candidates with a very strong background in TMT, particularly in technology, ideally with a mix of in house and professional services experience, who can demonstrate a track record of relationship and leadership skills, portfolio management and thought leadership.

Your Role Managing risk, compliance and establishing effective controls are at the heart of good governance and sustainable superior business performance. Our Strategic, Regulatory and Operational (SRO) team offers unrivalled depth of experience in providing solutions based on our client needs. We design, implement and provide assurance over business processes to manage the risks our clients face on a day-to-day basis. This role will specifically focus on the TMT sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
Extensive liaison with clients both face to face and remotely.
Building upon your extensive experience and knowledge of the TMT (especially technology) industry to develop genuine and thought provoking insights; imparting this knowledge across our client base as well as the team to develop wider capability.
Continue to develop our TMT practice, by leading business development, including networking both internally across Deloitte's service lines, and also externally with current and potential future clients.
Project planning and management to support the Team's project based work;
Working to tight deadlines, often requiring prioritisation of numerous concurrent project deadlines and requirements.
Management of more junior members of the team in order to deliver the objectives of projects and to develop the skills of junior members.
Research and analysis related to projects, business development and thought leadership.
Regularly attending internal industry events and training sessions.
To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

Your Professional Experience
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Significant experience in the TMT industry particularly the technology sector, ideally in a professional services as well as an in-house capacity.
Excellent of building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
Business development experience including defining and presenting on projects completed, ideas, strategies.
A track record of developing relevant thought leadership / or innovative solutions to challenges.
Ability to think creatively, generate innovative ideas, challenge the status quo and deliver effectively with what can often be ambiguous requirements.
Considerable experience of people leadership including in diverse environments.
Experience of developing junior staff and mentoring team members.
Proven planning and project management skills.
Excellent networking and influencing skills.
The ability to travel to client sites as required by this position.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
