Analyst - Finance & T/CIO Data Office - Data Governance Strategy & Analytics Team
The Financial Accounting, Infrastructure and Reporting team is accountable for the integrity of the books and records of the Firm / LOBs and leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events.
The Finance & Treasury/Chief Investment Office Data Management Office(CDO) as part of the Financial Accounting, Infrastructure and Reporting team is responsible for providing fit for purpose data required by Corporate Finance & T/CIO and driving data governance and policy adherence to the Firmwide Data Management standards and capabilities.
The Finance & T/CIO Chief Data Office is looking for an Analyst level candidate who will be part of a high performing team of data management professionals focused on delivering innovative data management solutions to Corporate Finance & T/CIO stakeholders. Data Governance Strategy & Analytics team members are focused on the strategy and implementation of the Firmwide Data Management Policy and Standards as well as implementing innovative metrics and reporting solutions for the Finance & T/CIO Data Office. Responsibilities
Support the Finance & T/CIO Data Governance Strategy team and partner with Finance & T/CIO CDO leadership team to design an implementation strategy and fulfill the requirements of Firmwide Data management Policy and standards across the following Firmwide Data Governance Policy Statements: o Data Description o Data Registration o Data Classification o Data Lineage o Ratification and Alignment to Authority o Data Quality o Data Protection o Data Sharing and Use o Data Retention and Disposal
Support Finance & T/CIO CDO data domain activities which include, but are not limited to business term definition and analysis, governance forum facilitation, and overall DataBook health and hygiene.
Partner with the Finance & T/CIO CDO leadership team to design, implement and test metrics and analytics that enable the oversight and delivery data management capabilities.
1+ years of program and/or project management experience required, with particular focus in the data space highly preferred
Strong core finance technical skills and solid understanding of finance processes, infrastructure and systems
Proficient with Excel and some experience with JIRA, Collibra, Tableau or Qlikview desirable
Attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment
Able to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
Strong interpersonal skills
Able to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; sound judgment
All internal moves will normally take place on the same grade and same salary. Salaries are reviewed annually in February. Exceptions to the rule regarding transfer on current salary may include a move between geographic locations .
