The Cash Management team is responsible for a largeproportion of the firm's cash flows, through a global operating model withteams based in Bournemouth, Tampa, Bangalore, Manila and Mumbai. The EMEAteam manages bank wide primary cash positions, in support of Global Treasury,in addition to business specific bank accounts and Investment Products for,Investor Services and the Investment Bank.
The team manages strategic projects and NewBusiness items that impact essential high risk day to day responsibilities inaddition to participation in a number of firm wide and business specificinitiatives. It is also relied upon to provide advice on liquidity implicationsof product and market changes, devise policy and design processes and systemsolutions in various cash related areas.
The Cash Management Analyst will support the widerTCIO led Cash as an Asset (CaaA) initiative forBalance Validation (justification of accounts where a large cost has incurredor large balance held for onward charging to the relevant area). The role willrequire m anagementand leadership to deliver a consistent and structured operating framework inparallel with implementing an automated solution:
Keyresponsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Project management of specified deliverables
Change Management - control change process
Define and assist with metrics for all aspect of Balance Validation
Creating a reporting structure for costs
Provide weekly governance
Contributing towards objective of reducing overdraft costs globally
End to end ownership for the delivery of the automation of the balance validation process
Stakeholder in the automation of the compensation process
Data Analysis. Ability to source, analyse and present large data sets.
Project Management. Execution focused and risk aware. Problem solver who has the ability to articulate clear and workable solutions
Change management. Challenge the status quo and be disciplined in implementing project plans.
Adaptable able to work globally, across Lines of Business
Process design. Understand the strategic objective and work to a pre-agreed framework
Escalates issues and concerns in a timely manner
Experience using business analysis techniques and/or other relevant capabilities, such as data mining, process mapping, process improvement, measurement frameworks
Experience of Business intelligence applications such as Tableau/Alteryx/QlikView
Knowledge of end-to-end technology lifecycle
Builds/promotes a client/customer centred organization
Experience of Industrialisation of new processes
Experience of working in an Agile Environment
