CITI EMEA Trade Sales Competitive Salary Offered 33 Canada Square, Canary Wharf , London Full Time The EMEA Trade business has set aggressive growth targets for sales/ origination and revenues in 2019 and onwards. This role, supporting the Trade Sales team across Europe and CEEMEA, requires an experienced, agile and self starting canditate, very keen to deliver to our EMEA clients' needs; with responsibilities ranging from content, structuring, proposals, pitches to managing and delivering follow ups as well as the creativity to initiate new projects, and confidence to train other newcomers to the trade sales business. The role will provide the successful candidate, over time, the opportunity to take on his or her own client portfolio either in Trade Sales or other parts of TTS client facing roles s.t. business requirements. The successful candidate, most importantly will gain origination experience across all industries, client segments, countries, trade solutioning / structuring working very closely with Trade Product leads, TTS Sales, Banking, GSG and Banking Industry Heads. With EMEA Trade's aggressive growth targets, push to uptier revenues on existing names, accelerate access to client seniors (CFOs ) for faster deal cycles, this is a key role. Position Objective: - Supporting the EMEA Trade Sales team on large deals, RFPs etc, acting as junior on large strategic deals including attending client calls and meetings. W. Europe Trade Sales are based in London and across the European continent, whereas CEEMEA Trade Sales team are based in countries. - The successful candidate would also be measured on a financial goal (wins target) as part of a deal team and client calling. - Reporting directly to Trade Sales Head CEEMEA Key Responsibilities: - Leading conversations directly with clients and non-client trade services beneficiaries - Working Capital Data, Peer analysis, Value Cases, Capital Efficiency content etc. for EMEA clients and client initiatives, for example supplier analysis to support big SCF pitches, DSO Value cases for Sales Finance pitches, analysing new digital trends to spot new client opportunities with fintech companies. Familiarity with FRG, CapIq, CRM, Bloomberg will be an advantage to run value cases. - Producing Content for and Running Deal Replication Series + other Initiatives set + coming up with new ideas and implementing more engaging marketing for Trade internally and externally. - Managing day-to-day metrics for the team including CRM inputs, Deal Replication content / calls, call reports etc. and strategic MIS for seniors / posting new content on Collaborate. - Organising training for other parts of the bank and region to increase Trade origination. - Contribute to all parts of originating a deal, value casing, structuring, making pitch, GDR/Risk approvals etc. with lead sales person. Development Value: Sales /Origination Skills, Risk and Credit skills, exposure to Trade seniors and seniors across the ICG. Extensive client and product experience and development of expertise in specific client and industry sectors. Ultimately this role could lead to moves into Trade Sales, Market Management, Trade product + other Trade Sales roles globally, as well as other client facing organizations such as GSS / TTS, GSG and Corporate banking.
