The position is within CCAR Reporting Team responsible for Schedule L - Counterparty Credit Risk submission. Comprehensive Capital Analysis Review (CCAR) is a quarterly US Federal Reserve regulatory submission. As part of the CCAR, the Federal Reserve evaluates institutions' capital adequacy, internal capital adequacy assessment processes, and their plans to make capital distributions, such as dividend payments or stock repurchases. The CCAR includes a supervisory stress test to support the Federal Reserve's analysis of the adequacy of the firms' capital. Boards of directors of the institutions are required each year to review and approve capital plans before submitting them to the Federal Reserve. Key Responsibilities:
Make sure that the Counterparty Credit Risk 14Q and 14A submissions are complete, correct and timely delivered
Support ad-hoc data analysis and system process flow analysis to identify issues and propose system design solutions
Work with Business and Technology teams to design, test and deploy technology solutions
Participate in User Acceptance Testing and Quality Assurance
Support Manager with strategic projects
Respond to Regulatory inquiriesKnowledge/Experience:
General knowledge of banking and financial institutions industry
Experience in risk or regulatory reporting in a global banking organization
Banking product knowledge including derivatives and SFTs
Experience/Familiarity with Risk and Finance Citi systems ( Optima, CitiRisk, AMC, SMC, RegInsight, CVAA, Facility Management System)
Very good knowledge of English Skills:
Excellent analytical background and skill set to understand complex processes, including system data flows.
Data analysis and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
Excellent people skills: ability to interact successfully with regulators, business partners and technology teams.
Good project management skills
A high competency level with MS Access/Excel (VBA and SQL is a plus).Qualifications:
University degree in economic area
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, performing similar tasks in a bank or in a financial institution
Strong understanding of financial, risk reporting and prior regulatory reporting experience
Team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong analytical skills and accuracy
Strong sense of commitment and problem solving attitude
Capacity to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to work with all level of managers and functional areas
