The Role Responsibilities
The core responsibility of this role is the project management of key change initiatives under SIOE, with additional responsibilities supporting location management in Warsaw.
Project Management: As part of Security Technology Services, you will be joining a fast growing and dynamic global team that is currently embarking on a major transformation of its services and capabilities. You will take on a diverse role, utilising your project management and coordination experience to drive forward core change initiatives across Strategy, Business Operations and Special Projects within STS. Working closely with the head of Strategy and Planning, Business Management leads and the Security Service managers you will get a broad exposure to the breadth of work underway within STS, with the ability to use your skills to make significant enhancements to how we operate as a function. The core responsibility of the role is to lead the definition, planning and delivering of core changes to ambitious deadlines, project managing and collaborating with a global team to ensure on time and effective delivery.
Location Management: STS is a large global team and we want to ensure we support our colleagues within their global functions, as well as from a location perspective. As such, each location has a Head of STS and SIOE provides location management support to those Heads. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that within each location all STS staff have a suitable workspace, location specific needs are covered, and importantly, there's a positive work environment and culture.
Responsible for core project management tasks including:
Define and document project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Supporting Location Management with responsibilities including coordinating activities that support team culture and environment, defining and maintaining a location book of work of regular events; Engage with and support the STS head of location for regular and ad hoc requests.
Our Ideal Candidate
A minimum of five years of IT project management experience, with demonstrable examples delivering complex projects in a global or large-scale organisation.
Highly structured, with the ability to take complex and ill-defined requirements and transform this into a clearly defined and achievable project scope.
Target Driven with a proven track record of managing risks and issues to meet challenging deadlines.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have: Experience with project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence; PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent project management qualifications; Knowledge and experience of working in Information and Cyber Security.
