Overall responsibility for the planning, coordination and administration of assigned projects in Bank of New York Mellon PAM to ensure timely completion. The Planning Administrator is responsible for developing the project plan and coordinating the various implementation plans, integrating the activities of all parties. The administrator directs and coordinates project team activities throughout implementation and acceptance by the end user to ensure activities are completed efficiently on schedule and to the satisfaction of the end user. These projects are assigned by the Business Unit Head or Division Head and may be in a variety of business areas and multiple geographic locations. Projects account for approximately 80% of the position. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for several administrative functions on an ongoing basis. These include; initiating, managing and administering incentive compensation plans for the Division; managing a project coordinator who is responsible for facilities (space planning), business resumption, and capital budget projects; and budget planning and review. Knowledge of the project management process. Comprehensive understanding of Bank of New York Mellon PAM organizations and functional workflows.
Qualifications Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate diverse large teams and work groups. A Graduate degree or 7 to 10 years equivalent work experience in product/service positions and/or marketing/customer interface positions.
