This Director of Direct Response will be responsible for:
Executing an integrated direct response program ($1-$10,000) to drive monthly and one-time donors for the hospital. Integrated channels include, but are not limited to: direct mail, digital and telemarketing for outright annual, in honor/tribute and lead-annual giving programs.
Managing relationships with direct response vendors, from project briefs, timelines, concept development, and internal approval process to in-market execution. Ensuring our message is on brand, timely, relevant and in alignment with other Trust goals.
Establishing and monitoring KPIs, tracking performance and analyzing results to optimize direct response campaigns.
Overseeing and conceptualizing low-dollar stewardship of the base, including welcome packages, newsletters (digital and mail) and other key stewardship.
Working in close collaboration with the Senior Director, Digital, to create innovative digital programs that maximize revenue and build engagement across donors.
Working collaboratively with the Senior Director of Leadership Gifts, to identify and pipeline prospects with capacity and inclination to do more. Developing conversion strategies to move special event donors to an outright or sustaining gift.
Overseeing strategy and solicitations for the Boston Children’s Hospital Alumni Association, in collaboration with other employee-giving efforts. Evaluating the success and progress of direct response efforts and refining business tactics.
Collaborating across the organization to foster integration between all teams.
Managing, supervising, coaching and mentoring staff to build and sustain a multi-channel program which will expand the donor base and grow donors to major gifts level.
To qualify, you must have:
Ten (10) years of experience in Direct Response, Digital Marketing and Management.
Experience in depth testing and data segmentation optimizing results.
Proven track record of success in a multi-faceted campaign of substantial scope.
Excellent project management skills, including planning and critical evaluation of an initiative.
