Hammond has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Territory Sales Representative to join the Hammond – Rack Mounting Solutions Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in servicing our customers, establishing account relationships and growing sales and spec position by working with key influencers and decision-makers.
Hammond is seeking a professional, self-motivated Bilingual Territory Sales Representative to join our Rack Mounting Solutions sales team and to represent our company and Rack Mounting product line. Based anywhere in the province of Quebec and reporting to the Canadian Sales Manager, the Bilingual Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving up sales revenue while implementing marketing strategies within the province of Quebec and Eastern Ontario territory.
This new position will service Eastern Ontario and the province of Quebec and requires the candidate to be willing to travel and fluent in both English and français Québécois. Using creativity, initiative, and tenacity, along with a consultative selling approach, the successful candidate will work to grow the sales territory through our existing distribution channels. Drive sales of Hammond’s comm/data products and services within the territory.
Manage and build relationships with existing clients.
Responsible for achieving objectives such as sales volumes, margin goals, and new client acquisitions.
Coordinate sales opportunities with Consultants, Contractors, Distribution Partners, and other sales representatives.
Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge and market segments.
Understand customer needs and requirements and guide them to the best Hammond solution.
Research accounts, identify key players and generate product interest.
Develop personally and professionally to maintain an understanding of an ever-changing technological industry.
Effectively balance time and priorities across multiple opportunities to meet/exceed sales objectives.
Identify and communicate competitor activities and other industry activities to help Hammond be proactive in the market.
Closely monitor and report our effectiveness in all sales and marketing activities.
Identify and communicate product and or product line opportunities or deficiencies to Product Management.
Jointly responsible for establishing and achieving profit margins and sales volumes for the company along with all other sales and marketing managers.
Working with maintaining CRM in sales activities.
Bilingual - French and English required.
10 years of progressive sales/sales management experience or equivalent.
Post-secondary education and/or related business experience.
Related industry experience would be an asset.
Proven track record of building a business and hitting sales targets.
Exceptional listening, communication and negotiation skills.
Commercial A/V and/or Data Communications industry experience and training preferred.
