Position Summary: Incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures governing physician practice and practice privileges. Incumbent's primary focus is on the acquisition and dissemination of information relative to membership in the Medical Staff organization privileges and patient care practice as well as the monitoring and evaluation of the quality of care provided by all participating practitioners.
Rate Minimum $79,800.00 Maximum $181,900.00
Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of project management experienceAbility to apply sound judgment in ambiguous situations and effectively manage changeAbility to coordinate and resolve issues in a timely mannerAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystemAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to persuade or influence people to take appropriate actionCPCS and/or CPMSM CertifiedDemonstrated understanding of medical terminologyExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishMinimum of 5 years experience in credentialing medical staffMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesStrong Knowledge of Joint Commission JCAHO, NCQA, and Title 22 regulationsStrong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to plan strategicallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of MS Office products
