The OHSU PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program is a full-time, 12-month program that provides residents with extensive Critical Care training opportunities in both adult and pediatric inpatient intensive care units, the emergency department, practice management, and academia.
Rotational learning experience requirements include the following:
Medical Intensive Care Unit
Trauma Surgical Unit
Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
Longitudinal learning experience requirements include the following:
Project management via residency research project
Code Blue Response
Critical Care Committee Participation
Critical Care staffing (4 shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday)
Candidates for the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program must have a certificate of completion from an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency program by July 1st, must have an active Oregon Intern License by July 1st, and must be eligible for full pharmacist licensure in Oregon by October 1st.
