Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications for Student Affairs- Centers and Activities. The Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications reports to the Executive Director of Student Centers and Activities and is a member of the Student Affairs Divisional Communication and Marketing Team, with a dotted-line report to the Director of Marketing and Communication. The Assistant Director is responsible for the creation, implementation, and assessment of all strategic marketing efforts for the department of Student Centers & Activities including; development of a strategic marketing plan, social media plan, research analytics, establishing a strong digital and print media presence, and branding of the new department and its various areas including: Student Centers and Event Services, Student Involvement, Leadership and Experiential Learning, Major Events and Programs, and the Rutgers University Programming Association (RUPA). The Assistant Director also provides supervision to the Marketing Coordinator and student design and media team.
