COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT, DONOR RELATIONS AND STEWARDSHIP , Sloan School of Management , to support the Donor Relations and Executive Boards team in executing a comprehensive stewardship strategy for donors to MIT Sloan. Will manage the acknowledgement process for restricted and unrestricted giving to the school and assist with the planning and execution of Sloan's executive boards meetings and be responsible for the team's data management.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : at least three years of experience in development and/or donor relations; excellent writing and editing skills that includes a background in writing, including a demonstrated ability to adopt the voice of others and conduct research in order to inform writing; comfort working with and manipulating data; strong interpersonal and project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, work independently, and provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment; and attention to detail. PREFERRED : a bachelor's degree, experience working in higher education/donor relations or similar organizations, experience in writing acknowledgement letters, and knowledge of fund-raising databases such as Advance.
