Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as main support for Director of Education (DOE).
Assists with committee/meeting notices, follow-up correspondence, minutes, agendas, etc. specific to the FCEP/FEMF Education & Academic Affairs Committee and educational programs/projects.
Coordination of various educational projects/programs as assigned.
Assists with communication, via broadcast email notifications, for our educational/planning committees
Sends program planning timeline(s), agenda(s), minutes, meetings, events
Communicates via broadcast email notifications of upcoming educational program, virtual or in-person of course offerings related to EMLRC’s mobile simulation and clinical education programs.
Sends program information, packets and other related course materials to appropriate parties.
Works with DOE to ensure that educational program event calendar is up-to-date on emlrc.org as well as on EMLRC’s online learning management system emlrconline.org.
Works with DOE to ensure that all mandated accreditation information is visible on these sites.
Works with DOE to ensure that EMRLC Online provides a quality learning experience for all users.
FCEP’s Pediatric EM Committee staff liaison.
Coordinates all associated face-to-face meetings, calls, minutes, etc. as directed by Committee Chair and/or FCEP leadership.
Some administrative/clerical duties.

Education specific responsibilities
Coordination of various educational projects/programs as assigned by the DOE.
Works with Program Planning Committees; DOE; event management vendors (i.e. Results at Hand, ReadyTalk; Cvent) to coordinate all activities to the assigned program/project.
Works with identified staff members to coordinate logistical aspects related to the assigned project.
Assists the Communications Manager with marketing elements associated with assigned educational programs/project, under the supervision of the Director of Education, in order to achieve the greatest program visibility.
Works in conjunction with the DOE and contracted instructors/faculty to coordinate schedule of events for clinical education programs both mobile and in-office.
Serves as a conference and events registration lead
Managing online registration & survey database for all EMLRC/FCEP/FEMF CE programs.
Educates staff on the process for both registration and CE issuance for customer service support.
Manages on-site registration for all educational events
Coordination of on-site set-up; assists with identification of registration hours; manages all on-site issues with customers as they arise.
Conducts post event surveys of annual events to determine reasoning behind not attending specific to FCEP members (i.e. SBS, EM Days), under the direction of the DOE. Reports survey results to DOE and the FCEP/FEMF Education & Academic Affairs Committee.
Continuing Education/Accreditation Data Reporting: responsible for uploading all participant CE records, per authority specification, to CE Broker (every 30-60 days) and CAPCE (every 90 days) for all educational program including those on EMLRC Online.
Assists in the coordination and maintenance of documentation files on all simulation and educational programs, and conferences for set timeframe (in accordance with accrediting bodies).
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
Minimum 2 years' relevant experience

EMLRC is accredited by the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of EMS; Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS); Florida Board of Nursing and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for paramedics, EMTs, nurses and physicians.
