The purpose of this position is to provide occupancy and move management (moves, adds, changes) program management, including site moves and restacking. Engages client senior management to determine block planning and any special requirements for group or daily moves.
May also coordinate delivery of workplace services with other functions.
This position is responsible for managing exempt and non-exempt employees on all aspects of the delivery of workplace experience services for a large building, campus, or portfolio. May manage a team in one or more offices.
Oversees operating policies and procedures ensuring those are aligned with the client's business needs, goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be decommissioning space within the facilities group and would work alongside the client's project management group. Experience with Manhattan or Archibus integrated workplace management system platform strongly preferred
When required, provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Master's degree preferred. Minimum three years experience directly related to the delivery of strategic planning services; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CAFM software experience, specifically AutoCAD, is preferred .
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Certification in Corporate Real Estate, LEED or Facilities Management preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, desktop publishing and CAD/CAFM software including MS Office Suite (MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel & Visio).
Familiar with system furniture design and modular furniture while demonstrating knowledge and adherence to building regulations and health & safety guidelines.
Ability to provide efficient, timely and reliable service to client(s). Ability to present information in an effective way. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to collaborate, problem solve and multi-task. Ability to adapt to change when necessary.
