The IT Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing solutions related to new and existing products, modules, and services. The IT PM establishes milestones for each project, coordinates efforts between operations and technology teams, in order to effectively and efficiently deliver projects according to plan. This position works with internal and external stakeholders to bring structure while implementing complex, project-based processes to bring increased efficiency in the delivery of all projects and services and in turn, enhanced customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes the scope of the work being requested by defining what the project will accomplish, the benefits, risks, cost, and key stakeholders
Creates a robust work/project plan which identifies and sequences activities to successfully complete a project
Manages the project schedule and reports truthfully the progress of the project
Facilitates planning, implementation, and stabilization activities for IT approved initiatives
Forecasts and manages resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) requirements to meet project goals
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, anticipating requirements
Stewards the organization through IT project management processes, requirements, systems, and best practices
Coordinates and oversees all phases of the project, drives projects to meet schedule and cost baselines
Maintains a clear open and full disclosure communication with management and leadership
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Works closely with the Project team and Business Analysts to develop, review, and update detailed project requirements (e.g. include stakeholder interviews, documenting before and after business processes, review of existing requirements documentation, benchmarking, and requirements walkthrough)
Profile of an Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree in a related area is necessary
PMP Certification is preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience is necessary
Experience using project management tools (e.g. MS Project) is necessary
Thorough knowledge of project management processes (e.g. PMP Certification) is necessary
Experience managing different types of projects (i.e. Infrastructure, Software Development, Vendor Deployment etc.) and knowledgeable in project management methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall Scrum etc.) is necessary
Strong technical management and understanding is necessary
A minimum of 5 years of experience managing Infrastructure, Software Development, and Vendor Deployment projects is preferred
5 years of project management experience is preferred
Experience with Planview Enterprise project management tool is preferred
