The Assistant Director for Admissions Marketing & Communications primary responsibility is to manage the internal approval process of over 1,000 letters and emails designed to attract, influence, and inform target audiences regarding the benefits and value of an undergraduate education at Boston University. The Assistant Director drafts, edits, and proofreads all letters and emails, sets up communication streams and templates in the Admissions CRM, and selects criteria for audience data. The Assistant Director works closely with staff from the 10 undergraduate schools and colleges at BU to develop targeted communications about their programs, and assists the Senior Assistant Director for Direct Marketing & CRM Operations and the Digital & Social Media Marketing Manager in creating and proofreading content for publications, social media, emails, and the admissions website. The Assistant Director also supervises one work study student.
B.A./B.S.; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; experience with Microsoft Office and Word Press. One to three years of relevant work experience.
