Position Summary: The Chief Digital Officer role is designed to streamline the implementation and change management challenges across functions, manage the pace of investments to support both short and longer term business needs and transition CEB into a high functioning digital organization. The Chief Digital Officer will help the company drive growth by converting traditional businesses to digital ones, and oversee operations in the rapidly changing digital sectors like mobile applications, social media and related applications, virtual goods, as well as web-based information management and marketing. The CDO will be not only a digital expert, but also a seasoned general manager. As the role is transformational, the CDO will be responsible for the adoption of digital technologies across the entire business.

Translate CEB's digital strategy into a compelling vision for user experience and technology, and execute on that vision to drive value for customers and deliver business results
Direct the development and revisions to policies and procedures for the general operation of the enterprise digital strategy and related activities.
Communicate new technologies, implications, and application to specific business areas to management.
Ensure that CEB can recognize return on digital investments to date.
Guide the transition of CEB to a platform business model through executing on the technology and marketplace strategies
Work across functions to deliver the systems, processes and key roles to improve the digital customer experience.
Manage portfolio of digital projects including prioritization and investment recommendations.
Ensure reliability and confidentiality of all business and customer data.
Ownership of the development and implementation, including budget and planning oversight, of CEB's digital infrastructure and technology roadmaps.
Job Requirements 10+ years experience that has included roles in both product management and engineering, with a track record of building compelling consumer facing product experiences
Demonstrated analytical skills, creative and innovative problem-solving skills and management ability. Demonstrated ability to perform problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
Ability to focus on development of strategic long-term visions and transform concepts into an effective implementation plan.
Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate complex concepts in a direct and straightforward manner
Demonstrated leadership and ability to deliver results in the technology and business environment.
Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and organize multiple priorities and deadlines
Action-oriented with strong project leadership skills, with demonstrated experience in building new processes and guiding multi-threaded projects or processes to completion
Experience in building consumer facing applications and the systems that enable them within either e-commerce, affiliate or publishing
Demonstrated effective and collaborative leadership style to manage organizational and technological change
Demonstrated ability to identify, track and report information technology infrastructure performance and effectiveness metrics.
Strong skills in using project management tools and demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and practices
Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization. Required
