Woodward Academy, winner of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s No. 1 Top Workplace award, is seeking an Editorial & Creative Manager to support all aspects of Marketing & Communications to ensure that the Academy is positioned as a leader in private school education in the Atlanta market.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications, the Editorial & Creative Manager must work well individually and in a collaborative team setting. This position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:
Serve as managing editor of Woodward magazine (currently printed 2x a year), leading production management and collaboration with MARCOM, designer, photographer, and other creative support to determine editorial strategy and creative direction. Implement best practices in magazine design, content, and publication.
Provide concept, editorial and design direction, writing/editing, and production management for print collateral on behalf of campus clients including the Admissions Office and five schools; responsible for on-brand, on-time, on-budget execution of collateral needs on behalf of campus clients.
Take lead in developing strategy and production of assets for editorial photography.
Collaborate with MARCOM team in exploring new and creative methods of telling the Woodward story in an authentic, compelling way across a range of media/platforms.
Collaborate with MARCOM team on production of content for inbound marketing and the Academy’s blog.
Provide editorial services for other related school materials as needed.
