Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean of Students & Chief of Staff, the Administrative Operations Coordinator (AOC) uses professional concepts to apply organization policies and procedures to oversee a variety of ongoing administrative operational issues for the Dean of Students Office. The AOC provides administrative and project management support in programmatic areas including but not limited to Slug Support, Basic Needs Programs, Conduct & Community Standards, Hate-Bias Complaint Resolution, student grievances, students in distress, and business operations. The AOC also provides executive administrative support to the Associate Dean of Students & Chief of Staff. The AOC position requires the ability to work independently, exercise good judgment with regard to highly sensitive/confidential issues, and excellent administrative and interpersonal skills, and political acumen to work with a diverse and inclusive campus community.
The Division of Student Success provides campus-wide coordination and leadership for student success programs and activities across departments, divisions, colleges, and administrative units. The Student Success Division includes the Student Success Evaluation & Research Center (SSERC), Student Achievement and Equity Innovation, Student Health and Wellness, the Career Center, and Student Development and Engagement/Dean of Students.
