We are looking for a IT Business Analyst to work at our Corporate office in Brentwood, TN ! If you possess a “whatever it takes attitude” keep reading. It’s hard to pinpoint a “typical” day here (and who wants typical anyway?), but as the IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering key design, functional and business requirements from idea to reality. The role appropriately coordinates and facilitates problem solving with design, clinical, operations, and engineers to build features and functionality that adds the most value to the product. Additionally, the Business Analyst is responsible for appropriately documenting business and design requirements and building user stories for development. What You’ll Do for Us: Research, interview, comment and document key business and technical requirements Communicate with key product stakeholders to determine requirements, constraints and risks with new or enhanced product features Ensure key stakeholders, including developers and product owners, are made aware of key information related to current or future development activity Identify, document and communicate key risks for product approaches Create reports to measure the effective output of team(s) Understand market activities around patient- and provider-facing technologies and experiences Gather and analyze the feedback from internal and external clients to ensure business goals are meeting the needs of the company’s strategic map Interview users and development teams and have a thorough understanding of current products and their challenges Analyze operational workflow to determine technological gaps and enhancements Guild CIAO team on a collective SDLC process Teach and facilitate Agile and Scrum trainings and coaching session to developers and leadership audiences Lead and facilitate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives and product drops Clear blockers to keep team focused on commitment Own the progress and success of project and have facts behind product vision and backlog in order of expectation of delivery Provide project reporting to ensure our efforts and delivery are meeting budget needs Education: Bachelor’s in engineering, computer science, business or other related field preferred. Experience: 2-3 years leading agile/SCRUM development teams 2-3 years working in an agile framework 2-3 years project management leadership 2-3 years IT industry Interested in learning Microsoft SQL Knowledge and Skills: You have a basic understanding of the coding logic used for both front end and backend development or have an interesting in the coding field You have knowledge of and experience with multiple technological applications in the healthcare space You have multiple years of experience with the Agile/SCRUM development methodology You have experience leading large teams with multiple stakeholders and helping coordinate efforts for the same goal You have experience identifying requirements and writing user stories based on product owner, developer, and QA feedback with business needs You have an interest and understanding of UI/UX designers in building consumer web and mobile products You are flexible, can think on your feet and are willing to do what is needed to get the job done and willing to make difficult decisions and own those decisions for the team You are detailed oriented and very well organized even in a fast paced changing environment What We’ll Do for You: At Premise Health, you’re not an employee – you’re a team member.
