CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
The ASAP Program at Kingsborough Community College is seeking talented Recruiters (Non-Teaching Adjuncts) for its prospective evening students. The Recruiters will work during ASAP's evening hours as well as provide assistance to prospective students in various areas.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Organize pre-admission advisement and cohort recruitment for all evening ASAP applicants
Lead evening ASAP recruitment activities (i.e., admissions events,fairs,tabling)
Conduct information sessions and in-take appointments with prospective students
Assist with troubleshooting applicants' enrollment issues
Perform related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Strong understanding of the needs and challenges facing students from diverse urban backgrounds
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, within the department and with faculty and other administrators
Strong organizational, project management, communication and facilitation skills
Computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite, and aptitude to learn new systems as needed
$42.95 - $53.44 per hour. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
