Worldgate is seeking to hire an experienced ERP Project Manager to support NC school districts locally and across the state in implementing a new, Cloud-based ERP system. We have multiple positions/locations for a PM needed within the state of North Carolina. The ERP Project Manager (PM) will act as part of a school district team and lead implementation activities between the school district and the ERP systems integrator. This position is key to the successful implementation of the ERP software to modernize a school district’s Finance, Human Resources, and Payroll functions. Proactively lead assigned projects and project staff by creating appropriate project plans and documentation.
Manage and control a project plan, budget, manage risks/issues, and coordinate resources from project start to finish.
Manage and validate vendor contract compliance throughout the Project, ensuring invoicing and deliverables meet contract requirements.
Sign off on contract milestone acknowledgment documents.
Report project status and escalate delivery issues to Worldgate VP of Client Services.
Effectively prepare for, analyze, and control changes on a project.
Collaborate on and approve proper signatures on Change Requests, if needed, to ensure proper scope and budgetary compliance.
Work with the Systems Integrator (SI) to identify resource gaps on the client team and collaborate with school district leadership to address the resource gaps to ensure a successful implementation.
Assist in the collection and documentation of business requirements and facilitate configuration to satisfy the requirements from the SI PM.
Coordinates the development of test cases that will be utilized during all testing phases of the project.
Lead and participate in the appropriate meetings to drive issues to a resolution to ensure the successful implementation of the solution.
Lead and participate at the appropriate checkpoints in the project to obtain the approvals necessary to deliver a successful project.
Participate and oversee in the application and system tests to ensure a high-quality solution is delivered to the school district.
Develop and recommend best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Conduct lessons learned and documentation in order to modify the rollout of the solutions template for future work.
Collaborate with the Worldgate Sales team and Client Engagement Manager to provide strategic input around new sales opportunities within client accounts.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:
Seven (7) or more years of Project Management experience
Experience implementing a modern ERP system such as Oracle / SAP / Infor / Tyler Munis / Microsoft / ect. with at least one public sector government or education organization
Project Management PMI PMP Certification is a plus
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of complex government organizations
Knowledge of Cloud ERP solutions
Advanced skills in Project Management Tools such as Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Products.
Proven meeting facilitator with explicit skills leading productive meetings
Ability to break down business processes into complex workflow/business process maps
Display effective brainstorming prowess and creativity
*Travel costs will be reimbursed for this position.
