The duties / responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provide project management to multiple Workforce Solutions (WS) programs/projects with a particular focus on business and industry-driven partnerships or collaborations. This includes OCTC's new GO Females GRADD (WIOA) grant, KCTCS Entrepreneurial and Innovation Initiative for Non-Traditional Students, and OCTC's National Science Foundation-funded ATE Grant – Advancing Female Incumbent Workers in the Manufacturing Industry.
Manage student success activities to ensure career navigation, student retention, and intervention strategies are employed. This also includes overseeing the advising, mentoring, college and/or career transitioning efforts, particularly as designated within a specific program, project, or partnership.
Leads the marketing and recruitment efforts for WS programs and projects. Ensures that all programs or projects are appropriately monitored; that fiscal and program accountability measures are met and reported per agency guidelines; and maintains all college and accreditation files related to the type of program, project, and/or students/participants.
Perform all other WS duties as assigned.
