Summary: Serves as a team member in one of the following Technology work groups: Service Delivery, Network Operations, Network Engineering, or Telecommunications. Performs the specific duties and general competencies required of the team and role for which s/he is assigned. Assesses, evaluates designs, develops, plans, tests, and implements IT Infrastructure Technology solutions in collaboration with other IT technical teams and customers to meet computing/telephony requirements. Performs 3rd level IT infrastructure support, maintenance, and monitoring. Works independently and as part of a team and is accountable for meeting or exceeding the expected outcomes and goals of both. Demonstrates sense of urgency and ownership, high degree of self-motivation, commitment, integrity, enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work. Committed to providing excellent end user technology support and customer service to staff, physicians, business partners, and vendors. 24x7 Responsibility includes: ability and willingness to be on call, work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. May perform other duties as assigned.
Standard Work Duties: Systems Engineer IV - Demonstrates the ability to perform all of the standard work/tasks listed on the System Engineer 4 competency checklist (workgroup/team specific). - Develops and documents IT infrastructure operating procedures. - Participates in the development of technical security and standards for information management. Implements security processes to minimize risk to LRMC operations and monitors effectiveness. Recommends changes in standard processes and procedures to optimize network security. - Provides 3rd level IT infrastructure support. - System and network management: Administers IT Infrastructure environment, including: AD, VM, Citrix. - Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues (Break/Fix) Problem determination and resolution. Assists with identification, reporting, analysis and resolution of information system issues. - Leads or participates in project management for information systems so that appropriate resources are allocated, timeline/critical path are identified, and outcomes are met. - Ability to perform all SE 1,2,3 Tasks at expert level (team specific).
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Essential: * Bachelor Degree
4-6 Years Network or Infrastructure experience in an enterprise environment.
Experience with multiple hardware vendor platforms to include HP and Dell/Wyse as well as out of band management (ILO, IMM).
Experience with various Microsoft products to include Windows OS, Active Directory, Exchange, Lync, Office, SharePoint, etc.
Experience implementing, supporting and migrating Windows 10 and Windows Server operating systems to include 2010, 2012 and 2016. Experience with Antivirus and vulnerability remediation
VDI / VMWare / Citrix Experience - creating, managing and updating VMs, images, pools and applications.
Experience with LANDesk, SCCM or other enterprise endpoint management solutions.
Experience leading small to medium projects from requirements through implementation
Experience creating, managing, and updating images, ISOs, clones and templates.
Experience working in a process structured environment which includes Change Management and Disaster Recovery Preparedness.
Experience with PowerShell scripting.
