Job Summary: The Front-End Developer supports the development of our KIOSK solutions in North America. The successful candidate will have a solid technical background, project management capabilities, with the ability to become well versed with proprietary software/hardware platform. A strong understanding of web front-end development is essential.
Expand existing software and develop new user-facing features to meet the changing needs of kiosk customers in America, by developing and implementing software consistent with current development processes and techniques
Analyze and investigate software engineering projects prior to development phase
Participate in design, code, and test reviews, and write corresponding specifications
Build and document reusable code and libraries for future use
Perform debugging and unit testing during the development phase, and work with the QA team during the release phase
Follow and contribute to improvement of the software development process
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or equivalent discipline
Adept understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Good understanding of Angular framework, asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
General IT skills: networking configuration, remote control software, etc.
Understanding of software development cycles, and the ability to generate the required documentation
Proven ability to perform software functional analysis and integration testing
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
