Conducting regulatory reviews and determining requirements for compliance via knowledge of existing regulations and searches of regulatory databases
Developing the strategy for compliance and understanding what information is required to complete food contact assessments
Authoring third party certification letters for compliance
Working on FDA Food Contact Notifications, including FCN Form 348
Liaising with different analytical groups and project management teams needed to complete compliance projects
Work closely with the Analytical labs to ensure testing is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Following up with Leads in the food contact compliance business are
Initial contact with the client via conference calls and email
Authoring proposals for the client
Develop and manage client relationships with food contact clients
Identify opportunities for business development within existing clients
Responsible for keeping up to date on the dynamic food contact regulations through seminars and networking events
Excellent writing skills, including writing regulatory reports sent to clients
Excellent communication skills, including updating clients on technical details and project status
Excellent communication skills, regarding new and existing clients
Following up with leads in order to grow the business via both existing and new clients
Exemplary project management and organization skills including ability to implement multiple projects at one time.
Minimum BS/MS degree in a scientific discipline
Minimum 3 years experience in conducting Regulatory Compliance Reviews
Experience in working on Food Contact Notifications
Experience in understanding analytical chemistry and/or polymer chemistry
