Advertised Job Summary:
Coordinates the installation of new and modified systems including but not limited to reading blueprints, schematics, or drawings; consulting with customers, University Project Managers, contractors, and sub-contractors to approve new construction plans based on USC standards and to provide information on existing electrical systems that may be affected during a project and advice on requirements for future construction projects; reviewing construction areas for electrical requirements; communication of expected installation or modification work with electrical personnel; troubleshooting new or newly modified systems to assure proper functioning; and occasionally estimating costs for project work based on length, scope, manpower, and equipment requirements.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma and 4 years electrical experience. Driver’s license required.
