The School invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor in the area of mass communications to begin August 16, 2020. For this position, we seek candidates with a research focus in computational social science and expertise in big data. Work in big data includes analyzing and drawing rigorous inferences from large complex data sets which involve social and digital media sources and other electronic data bases. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in mass communications or a related field by the start date of employment (ABDs considered).
