The Community Relations Specialist will be primarily responsible for building, growing, engaging and managing Springtide’s internal and external communities/stakeholders under the direction of the Springtide Executive Director through effective and robust multichannel communications and publicity strategies. The Community Relations Specialist will be tasked with all day-to-day operations related to external communications, promotion and publicity, including development and implementation of brand-consistent messaging, social and public media strategies to build brand awareness and communicate research findings broadly, and engagement of audiences so as to drive traffic to SpringtideResearch.org and build a dedicated community of trust in Springtide’s research and reports. This position will leverage brand guidelines to build, manage and execute a comprehensive media communications, promotions and publicity calendar as well as respond promptly to all comments, posts and activity across all social media. The Community Relations Specialist will provide ongoing analysis and performance reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly timeframes that drive strategic plan shifts to better engage constituents and build following. The ideal candidate will not only have a strong understanding of social media networks and technology, but will be confident, creative and effective in engaging with Springtide’s various stakeholders, including public and religious media, religious and cultural leaders across the US and abroad. Some travel may be required.

Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor's degree in communications, digital marketing or similar field
Previous marketing, social media and/or community engagement experience preferred
