The Telehealth Services Manager will provide a wide range of coordination, administrative and operational activities to support Telehealth services at ColumbiaDoctors. The incumbent will work closely with the Senior Director Physician Relations Services, the NYP Innovations Team and the EpicTogether Team to coordinate tasks associated with adoption, implementation and expansion of Telehealth services across the organization.
Assists with tracking progress of new and existing use cases
Works closely with the NYP innovations team and/or the EpicTogether Team, and assists with guiding providers and administrative team members through the onboarding process
Assist ColumbiaDoctors clinical departments, the NYP Innovation Team and/or the EpicTogether team to schedule program activities, including demonstrations and training
Develops and manages project plans: including key deliverables and resource requirements.
In collaboration with the NYP innovations team, collects use case information and coordinates all necessary readiness activities to ensure systems are configured for telehealth services
Maintains a working knowledge of all billing regulations and provides direction to departments and revenue cycle teams related to changes in regulations.
Collects and documents feedback from existing use cases and escalates issues to appropriate individuals for resolution
Collaborates with the EpicTogether Team and/or NYP IT to develop any necessary clinical content in appropriate EHRs/telehealth systems
Provides support in the establishment of transition plans for conversion of telemedicine practices and workflows to be consistent with Epic requirements
Supports a thorough assessment of all hardware, software and support devices to determine future needs to support telemedicine in the Epic environment
Is an integral member of the quality management team, and participates in the Performance Improvement Program.
Responsible for collection of all patient satisfaction and quality assurance data elements; tracks and trends these elements and provides management with detailed reporting and trend analysis
Works closely with CDIS and/or EpicTogether to manage all reports necessary for monitoring digital health utilization
In collaboration with the EpicTogether Team or NYP IT Analytics', develops and maintains all statistical reports including overall volume, volume by use case, no-show and cancellation rates. Identifies significant negative trends and reports such trends to management
Maintains oversight of all reporting and activities associated with digital health block grant
Meets regularly with operational and telehealth team members to improve and streamline the process including with the marketing team to create and share marketing materials and updates
Provides direct administrative support to the Senior Director of Physician Relations Services as well as the ACMO for digital health solutions
Coordinates all digital health meetings, provides admin support for meetings, maintains minutes and distributes all meeting materials, agendas and minutes
Available as a resource to the clinical and ancillary departments to provide education and training on the use of telehealth services
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
Collaborates with CMO, CMIO and other FPO clinical leadership to evaluate and design best practice solutions for integration into Epic
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office, including MS Excel
Strong analytical skills
Ability to collaborate with different levels of staff, across multiple organizations
Knowledge of online applications and software
Familiarity with healthcare environment
Experience with data analysis and management
Must successfully complete systems training requirements
Experience with Epic, Epic MyChart, and deploying digital solutions is preferred
