JOBSUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of an assignedsupervisor, this position serves as the administrative project manager foranalyzing and providing oversight for multiple, complex simulated experiencesas they move through their life cycles. Responsible for recommending variouscourses of action for quality improvement on behalf of the Center forHealthcare Improvement and Patient Simulation (CHIPS).
Evaluates all requests for simulation and planssimulated experiences according to CHIPS policies and procedures.
Engages face-to-face and/or virtual with teammembers (including key CHIPS staff, faculty of record, and other stakeholders)and reviews project deliverables. Delegates and assigns tasks to associatedteam members.
Reviews and tracks the progress of allactivities associated with a simulated experience. Corresponds with variousexecutives and/or stakeholders of circumstances that may impact deliverables ortimelines.
Assists with allocating physical, financial, andhuman resources for simulated experiences. Ensures project deadlines andanticipated outcomes are met.
Reviews accounts receivables contracts andcorresponding budgets from external customers to ensure accuracy and compliancewith terms and conditions.
Oversees post event assessments. Evaluatesprocesses and recommends customized solutions to improve simulated experiences.
Develops project improvement plans to ensurebetter outcomes for repeating simulation experiences and disseminates thisinformation to key stakeholders.
Oversees and analyzes project data used foraccreditation, presentations, and other high-level reports.
Maintains CHIPS online surveys, requests, andassessments, Trello project management platform, and a library of casedocumentation.
Oversees and advertises simulated experiencesvia mass electronic correspondence, local digests, and other modes ofcommunication, as needed. Assists with creating web content, white papers,presentations, etc.
Networks and collaborates with other healthcaresimulation programs.
Serves as an ambassador of UTHSC simulationprogram in local, regional, and national simulation venues/settings.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
