About The Role Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 Role Type: Permanent & Full-time
As the Senior Modelling Analyst, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of credit scoring models & assessment tools ECL, and capital estimate modelling that apply to the Retail portfolio across the credit lifecycle.
Your key accountabilities will include the following:
Assisting in project scope to ensure business expectations are understood by all stakeholders
Assisting with the project management across the design and development of required analytical solutions
Ensuring clear & effective lines of communication with business units, systems and retail risk
Assisting with managing expectations of business unit and delivery of projects to agreed timelines
Developing statistically derived models in line with ANZ methodology standards for use across the credit life cycle
Developing Capital Estimates in line with ANZ methodology standards
Developing lending strategies
Developing analytical solutions that are fit for purpose
Ensuring all GRM documentation standards are adhered to across projects
About you To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience in using core banking systems and data warehouses
Advanced Statistical software skills (e.g. SAS) and Microsoft Office applications knowledge
Solid understanding of credit scoring and portfolio management techniques
Solid understanding of capital estimates methodology
Good understanding of Retail portfolios
Portfolio management knowledge and project management skills
Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem solving skills
Well-developed written and verbal skills
Graduate qualifications in statistics, operations research, or mathematics
