This candidate will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team so an intrinsic knowledge of SFTR, and demonstrable experience delivering it, will be essential. Specific knowledge of how SFTR affects products will be required, in order to deliver effective change that is specific to each department.
Strong project management skills, particularly regulatory projects, would likely equip the ideal candidate with experience required to complete this assignment.
Regulatory knowledge and an appreciation of bank-wide infrastructure projects will be extremely advantageous in adhering to the duties required. The candidate will identify, analyse, and translate the SFTR requirements affecting the EMEA regions of the bank, then communicating solutions to other departments, including Legal, Compliance, and Front Office.
Close work with stakeholders will be expected throughout and this candidate will be expected to update each stakeholder on any infrastructure-related change necessitated. The ability to communicate information in written and verbal mediums is essential, as well as the ability to work to deadlines within teams and individually.
This contract has an immediate start and will involve working within and between Compliance and Project teams in the City of London.
