Position Summary: As directed by the Board of Directors, the incumbent is responsible for the overall management and fiscal oversight of the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) throughout UC Irvine Health. In coordination with the FQHC Board of Governors, Chief Ambulatory Officer, physicians, and staff, provides strategic leadership, direction and guidance in managing the administrative and business operations of the FQHC clinics, ensuring compliance with budgets, policy, patient satisfaction standards as well as reporting requirements and related grants. Builds relationships, identifies priority community health needs and implements strategies to address such needs.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English and SpanishExperience working in a UC and/or union environmentKnowledge of Orange County healthcare marketKnowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and formsKnowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices especially as relates to practice managementMaster's Degree in business, healthcare administration or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquiredProject management experience overseeing matrix teams in a healthcare environment
